SoundBand is a project that uses PIR sensors to simulate the cafe environment. When user walked pass one of the PIR sensors, it will triggered a randomize sounds from a typical cafe. 

This project combined with a Virtual News Wall and a Nespresso machine to conceptualized a future coffee shop where users read their news from an AI wall that provides the latest updates to the users instead of reading it from a newspaper. 

The selection of news displayed to the users will be based on the user's mood and gender that is captured by the mood camera. In version 2.0, we have added cafe music based on the users' age, mood and gender.
